The property is located in Market Square, behind the Market Hall at the top of the town.

Free street parking is usually available nearby or there are two free car parks within a 5 minute walk. However, if you have mobility issues, please let us know when you book a we will reserve a space for you. The courtyard is accessed at the side of The Bakehouse Cottage.  Cyclists can leave their bicycles in a lockable shed in the courtyard.  An outside toilet is located in the courtyard.

The courtyard entrance door to the house is 105cm wide with a small step 20cm high leading to a vestibule.

The breakfast room is located on the ground floor.  There are two steps (each 15cm high) on entrance to the room.  The door is 89cm wide.  The breakfast room can also be accessed via the Tearooms, involving four 15cm steps with handrails either side of the staircase.

Alternative access to the main street is via five 20cm steps down the hall.

We have two double and two family rooms.  The family rooms can be used as twin bedded rooms.  All accommodation is located on the first floor which is accessed via eleven steps, each 20cm high.  There is a wooden handrail to the right of the staircase.  All bedroom doors are 73cm wide and all bathroom doors are 76cm wide.  Room 1 has an additional four 15cm steps leading to the sleeping area of the bedroom.

The property has a smoke detection system and illuminated emergency exit signs.Breakfast is served between 8.30am – 9.30am, however breakfast outside these hours can usually be accommodated.  A breakfast in bed service is also available.

The property is located at the top of the town with many shops, pubs etc in the immediate vicinity.All bedrooms have a television, hospitality tray, radio alarm clock and fridge.  An information pack containing local attractions, events, menus, taxi companies etc  is supplied.  All bathrooms have baths with overhead shower attachment.  Lighting in bedrooms is controlled by dimmer switches.

Trained first aiders are on site and staff have received disability equality training.
